The Nosh Team is featured at IFBC NOLA and welcomes attendees with sponsored cocktail crawl
NEW ORLEANS – August 24, 2011 – Nosh (http://www.nosh.me), a free iPhone and Android application that allows users to rate menu items and share with their friends – will be participating at the International Food Blogger Conference (IFBC) in New Orleans. Craig Walker, CEO of Firespotter labs, the founder of Nosh, is a featured speaker at the event, discussing restaurant reviewing etiquette on the 8/28 Dine & Dish panel.
“Nosh is all about discovering what’s good to eat and letting others know what they should order when they’re out,” said Craig Walker, founder of Nosh. “We are taking dining recommendations to the next level by shifting the review from an entire restaurant to actual menu items. Speaking about the etiquette of live menu reviews on the same panel with a restaurant owner will be a great way to highlight the need for more granular reviews not just for customers, but for restaurant owners too. Plus, it’s a great way to meet and drink with the attendees in New Orleans, a great foodie city.”
To set the flavor for the event, Nosh is hosting a Cocktail Crawl for conference attendees. Join the Nosh team and fellow food bloggers as they take over the French Quarter on Friday, August 26th from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Nosh has partnered with the IFBC to provide conference attendees with exclusive cocktail discounts at three of NOLA’s famous lounges.
As part of the cocktail crawl, Nosh will be giving away prizes to the first three IFBC participants that rate, review, and share photos of the selected cocktails; prizes include an Android phone and Restaurant.com gift certificates.
